Our university has always been encouraging an active academic atmosphere and building academic platforms Since 2008, we have built ICTTS, ICASSP, International Conference of Computer System in Railway, Rail Transit and Application, conference of Information science and information technology on both sides of the Taiwan straits, The first China - European logistics BBS, International informatics and organizational semiotics academic annual meeting.ete.of which the number of the series of larger-international academic conferences is 37,the number of Domestic Academic Meetings is 46. Besides,we have hosted China transportation top BBS 8 times, pioneered the series of jiaotong University academic salons, jiaotong university high-level academic lectures and some special academic activities, all of the academic report meetings up to 926 times.?

• International Conference on Traffic and Transportation Studies (ICTTS)
  During the period of 2008-2013, we jointed the American society of civil engineers institution and successfully hosted from the sixth to the eighth ICTTS conferences in NanNing, KunMing, and ChangSha,which has attracted nearly 200experts and scholars from more than 10 countries and regions to attend .Our papers are included in EI database. Now,these meetings have become a world's transportation field of important academic communication platform in Asia and has a widely international influence.

• International Conference On Software Process (ICSP)
  We have held ICSP up to 11 times every 2 years since 1990. After 20-year-academic-reputation accumulation , we have obtained widely attention and recognition. The experts,professor Yuan Baozong and professor Ruan Qiuqi, with great contributions to the meeting, have been received IEEE ICSP special contribution awards and the international academic exchanges by the conference.

• International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for （Wireless Communications MAPE）
  The 20th anniversary of the founding of IEEE Beijing branch has launched the MAPE of international academic conference ,sponsored by the IEEE Beijing branch and the school to undertake, which is held every two years and has been held five meetings so far. professor Zhang Linchang , professor Wen Yinghong, professor Wang Junhong are the first, the second, the third and the fourth programmers chairman of MAPE meeting . MAPE meeting is involved six discussion areas such as the antenna and the radio waves propagation, electromagnetic compatibility and related fields, signal processing, system and radio service of microwave electronics and electromagnetic. Now Professor Wen Yinghong is the committee secretary of IEEE in China and the branch of the IEEE Beijing committee member.Also,He is the education committee chairman and the chairman of URSI commission .

• 12th International Conference on Computer System Design and Operation in the Railway and other Transit Systems (COMPRAIL2010)
  COMPRAIL, held in Frankfurt international conference for the first time in 1987, is an important railway and rail transit field of international top-level meeting, which attracts hundreds of companies from diverse countries and multinational companies’ significant international experts to participate. Beijing Jiaotong University is the host to the 12th COMPRAIL2010.

 

• China Transportation Forum
  China Transportation Forum was established by Beijing Jiaotong University, in 2005, hosted by Systems engineering society of China and Beijing Jiaotong University every two years since 2011. So far it has been successfully held eight times by Beijing jiaotong University. We have widely invited governments, universities, research institutions and industry experts from various areas to discuss further d explorations to major problems in traffic areas. So far, the BBS has built a strong brand advantage and become a high-level bending transportation communication platform of thinking, innovation and frontiers.
  With the theme of new situation and new mission of China Comprehensive traffic ,the eighth China traffic top BBS was held in the international conference center in 2013.This BBS meeting involves the comprehensive transportation system and mechanism construction, the comprehensive transportation system of collaborative innovation mechanism and policy, the transportation planning theories and methods, etc.

• Jiaoda Distinguished Lecture Series
  “Jiaoda Distinguished Lecture Series” is a high-level academic lecture activity founded in February 2009. We invited 8 to 15 experts and scholars with giant social influences and remarkable achievements to discuss current policy, analyze social hot spots and explore the scientific frontiers each year. The audiences of this Lecture are mainly school teachers, students and scholars from universities scientific research institutes.
