Hundred Excellent Talents Project

The Hundred Excellent Talents Project of BJTU aims to enhance the innovation capacity and core competitiveness of BJTU by gathering a number of leading academic talents. BJTU will provide supporting conditions including professional and technical titles, positions, salaries, housing, team construction, etc.

  1. Qualifications Required
  • Applicants should be active in international academic arena and enjoy high academic reputation.

  • First-level talents should reach the level of academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering or National Thousand Talents Project Specialty Professors. Second-level talents should reach the level of Changjiang Scholarship Specialty Professors or the winners of National Outstanding Youth Funds. Third-level talents should reach the level of National Thousand Young Talents. Fourth-level talents should achieve outstanding academic accomplishments and have the ability to win National Outstanding Youth Funds within 3 to 5 years.

  • There will be no age limitation for first-level talents. Second-level talents should not be over 55 years old. Third-level talents who work on natural science should not be over 40 years old and these who work on humanities and social science should not be over 45 years old. Fourth-level talents who work on natural science should not be over 35 years old and these who work on humanities and social science should not be over 40 years old.

  1. Salaries and Supporting Conditions

  • Salaries for first-level talents will be decided through mutual negotiation. Jobs will be arranged for the spouses of first and second-level talents.
