President XI Jinping received Prof. Jin Ho Kwak(back row, first right), member of Korean Academy of Science and Technology and a professor of Pohang University of Science and Technology. He was accepted into 1000 Talent Plan: recruitment program of foreign experts in 2012.

In April 2013, Prof.Roderick Ian Muttram, academic master of Overseas Expertise Introduction Project for Innovation on Rail Traffic Control and Safety, fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering(UK), was undertaking the collaborative research on safety analysis and assessment technology.

On April 27th 2013, Prof. A. Kareem, fellow of American Academy of Engineering and a professor of University of Notre Dame, was invited to give a special report at the launching ceremony of Overseas Expertise Introduction Project for Innovation on Mitigating Wind-Induced Disaster of Infrastructures Sensitive to Wind.
