On the afternoon of October 28, 2025, President Yu Zujun met with Prof. G.Q. Max Lu AO, President of the University of Wollongong (UOW), at Siyuan Building. The two presidents officially signed a renewed cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the productive outcomes of their existing collaborations in joint educational programs, academic exchanges, and scientific research. They discussed further deepening cooperation in multi-campus student exchanges, joint education programs, dual degree training, and faculty development. Both institutions agreed to jointly promote high-quality collaborative programs in fields such as economic management and engineering technology.

During the visit, the delegation toured the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Rail Transit Autonomous Operation and held an exchange seminar with students from the Mechatronic Engineering Sino-Foreign Collaborative Education Program.
