On the afternoon of October 1, 2025, Vice President Jing Tao of Beijing Jiaotong University met with Prof. Giorgio Resta, Vice President for International Affairs of Roma Tre University (Italy), at Siyuan Building.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed their long-standing collaboration and reached consensus on expanding cooperation in transportation, law, and architecture. Key areas of focus will include academic and student exchanges, joint talent cultivation, and collaborative research programs, with plans to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism to further advance Sino-Italian educational collaboration.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the School of Traffic and Transportation and the Office of International Affairs. 

Following the meeting, Vice President Giorgio Resta held in-depth discussions with representatives from the School of Traffic and Transportation.
