Rajamangala University of Technology ISAN Delegation Visited BJTU

On the afternoon of 13th September, Vice President GUAN Zhongliang met with the Rector of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI), Viroj Limkaisang.

GUAN welcomed the delegation and made a brief introduction about the history, advantages and international cooperation of the university. He believes the signing of China-Thailand High Speed Railway Agreement has provided an excellent chance for BJTU and RMUTI to cooperate. He hopes in the future, the two universities will promote the student and faculty exchange and the research collaboration in the field of traffic and transportation, and that the railway technology training will be run jointly by the two universities to provide personnel and technological support for the construction of China-Thailand High Speed Railway.

Limkaisang appreciated the reception of BJTU and briefly introduced RMUTI’s advantages in railway training. He hopes the two universities will fully utilise the research resources in railway transportation, interact more frequently and realise cooperation in teaching, research and professional training.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited the National Virtual Simulation Experiment and Teaching Centre. The principals of International Affairs, Academic Affairs, School of Traffic and Transportation and the National Education and Service Centre of Rail Transportation Technology attended the meeting.
