On the morning of October 14, 2025, Vice President Li Guoxiu met with Ms. Isabel Cervera, Director of Instituto Cervantes Beijing, at Siyuan Building.

Both sides expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation in areas including language programs, student internships, and cultural exchanges, with plans to explore a tripartite partnership involving Latin American embassies. The meeting also acknowledged mutual appreciation for each side's contributions to Spanish language education and rail transit development.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the School of Languages and Communication Studies and the Office of International Affairs. Director Cervera also held follow-up discussions with the School of Languages and Communication Studies.
