Delegation from CP Group, Thailand, Visited BJTU

On March 23, Vice President met with the delegation from CP Group, Thailand, led by Chairman Mr. Korsak Chairasmisak.

Firstly, Vice President GUAN Zhongliang extended welcome to the delegation on behalf of BJTU and introduced the university history, strength discipline and cooperation between BJTU and Thai counterparts. He pointed out that Thailand is an important country along the “Belt and Road”. We have maintained good relationship with Thai universities, government and enterprises. He hoped that both sides would promote future cooperation in joint cultivation of students and faculty training in the area of engineering through this visit.

Mr. Korsak Chairasmisak expressed gratitude to BJTU for the hospitality and introduced the history and school-running characteristics of Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) owned by CP Group. He reached cooperation intentions with BJTU on joint cultivation of students and faculty training. He hoped that both sides would strengthen communication and contact to conduct practical cooperation in talent cultivation and curriculum building in the area of engineering.  

 

After the meeting, the guests also visited the Transport Equipments Teaching Hall, National Demonstration Center for Experimental Traffic and Transportation Education, National Virtual Simulation Experiment Center of Traffic and Transportation, Institute of Transportation System Science and Engineering and University Museum and held talks with principals from the relevant schools.

Principals from the School of Economics and Management, School of Traffic and Transportation, Office of International Affairs and Center for International Education were also present at the meeting.
