On the afternoon of June 4, 2015, Vice President CHEN Feng met with the delegation led by Afanaseva Elena from the St. Petersburg State Transport University (PSTU), Russia. Both sides exchanged views and reached consensuses on the signing ceremony for the joint establishment of the Russia-China Jiaotong Institute, inauguration ceremony of the Russia-China Jiaotong Institute and China-Russia High-speed Rail Research Center, the admission preparations for the Russia-China Jiaotong Institute as well as the joint establishment of the Confucius Institute between BJTU and PSTU.

Victoria Sprukstina, Program Supervisor of International Office of St. Petersburg State Transport University and principals from the Office of International Affairs (BJTU) were also present at the meeting.
