LI Guoxiu, Male, Han Ethnicity, was born in April 1970. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He has a postgraduate education and holds a doctoral degree. He is also a professor and doctoral supervisor at BJTU.

Prof. LI Guoxiu has served, in chronological order, as faculty member of the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering at Northern Jiaotong University; Vice Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering, Executive Vice Dean of Graduate School, Deputy Director of the Office of Graduate Student Affairs, Director of the Office of Planning and Academic Development at Beijing Jiaotong University. He is currently a Member of the Standing CPC BJTU Committee and Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University.

Part-time functions: He is also a council member of the Beijing Jiaotong University Education Foundation.
