JING Tao, Male, Han Ethnicity, was born in June 1969. With no political affiliation, he has a postgraduate education and holds a doctoral degree. He is also a professor and doctoral supervisor at BJTU.

Prof. JING Tao has served, in chronological order, as faculty member at Changchun Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, faculty member at the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Northern Jiaotong University; Vice Dean of Graduate School, Director of Office of Research, Executive Deputy Director of Office of Scientific Research and Development Affairs. He is currently the Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University.

Part-time functions: He is also the Deputy Secretary General of the Communication Signal Section of China Railway Society, Vice Chairman of Beijing Society of Metros.
