About the ESCI Database
The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) was launched by Thomson Reuters in November 2015. Together with SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index), and A&HCI (Arts & Humanities Citation Index), it forms part of the Web of Science (WOS) database. ESCI primarily indexes high-quality academic journals that have significant influence in emerging research fields.
About the CSCD Database
The Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), developed by the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is one of the most important journal evaluation systems in China. It holds recognized authority and influence in both the academic and publishing communities.
