On October 14, 2014, Vice President CHEN Feng met with Mr. Vladimir Nekhoroshkov, Vice President of Siberian Transport University, Russia at Siyuan Building. Both sides discussed dual-degree program, teachers and students short-term exchange.
CHEN Feng welcomed Mr. Vladimir Nekhoroshkov to visit BJTU again. He reviewed the friendly relations both sides have established over the years on scientific research and teachers exchange. He introduced about international students at BJTU and said the two universities boast broad prospects for bilateral cooperation, sharing much similarity in professions. CHEN expressed interest to carry out cooperation with Siberian Transport University in the fields of short-term talents cultivation and training.
Mr. Vladimir Nekhoroshkov expressed gratitude to BJTU and introduced about Chinese learning program of students in Siberian Transport University. He expected to realize the students exchange and collaborative education programs through the “2+2” dual-degree program.
Principals from the Office of International Affairs and the Center for International Education were also present at the meeting.
