From 27 to 29 July, 2014, the final of the 6th National College Students Mechanical Innovation Design Competition was held in Northeastern University. A total of 4,180 projects of college students from 28 provinces were displayed in the competition. After fierce preliminary contests, a total of 158 projects were selected into the final. Ultimately, Beijing Jiaotong University won two first prizes and one second prize, which marked a breakthrough of BJTU at such competition.
WANG Deng, LIU Xiao, LIU Shaoshuai and SONG Meng from the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering won the first prize with the works of “CRH Bogie Model Dynamic Showcase” that guided by SONG Yongzeng and HONG Jianping. ZHU Yangjie, ZHU Chen, YU Jun and GUO Xinpeng from the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering won the first prize with the projects of "Typical Mechanism of Interesting Demonstration Version: Shooting Master” that guided by ZHANG Ying and HONG Jianping. In addition, LI Bowei, WANG Hongbo and WANG Baozhi from the School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering won the second prize with their projects of “Classroom in Dream” that guided by DU Xiuxia.
The National College Students Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, supported by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, is one of the key national academic competitions for college students. Students are able to improve their innovational, operational and team-work abilities through attending the competition.
