On the morning of 7 July, President NING Bin met with the delegation led by Prof. Dale Carnegie, Dean of the School of Engineering and Computer Science, and Prof. Mengjie ZHANG from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
President NING Bin extended warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university. He hoped that both sides would expand new ground for cooperation through frequent bilateral visits and expected intellectual support from Victoria University of Wellington in the development of future Robotics Research Center of Beijing Jiaotong University.
Prof. Dale Carnegie expressed gratitude to Beijing Jiaotong University. Victoria University of Wellington is willing to further enlarge the scale of the School of Engineering and Computer Science, expand global partnership and explore more opportunities for cooperation between Jiaotong University and Victoria University of Wellington.
After the meeting, Prof. Dale Carnegie and Prof. Mengjie ZHANG visited the State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety.
ZHAO Peng, Director of the Office of General Administration, and DONG Hairong, Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs also attended the meeting.
