On April 22th, 2014, the delegation led by Dr. LI Bailian, Vice President of North Carolina State University (NCSU) visited BJTU. Mr. CAO Guoyong, Chairman of the University Council met with the delegation. With cordial and friendly talks, the two sides reached a couple of important consensuses.

Chairman CAO Guoyong extended warm welcome to the guests on behalf of BJTU and made a brief introduction in terms of the development of disciplines in recent years and the International Strategic Plan. He highlighted that the University has always attached great importance to internationalization of BJTU, being essential in the 12th five-year plan. He invited Dr. LI to give lectures in BJTU at his convenience on international development strategies, and looked forward to further cooperation between two universities in terms of staff and student exchange.

Dr. LI expressed his gratitude for hospitality of BJTU. He introduced the developing strategies of NCSU and shared with participants the experience of international collaboration.

Vice President LIU Jun, Assistant President XU Yugong and directors of related offices also attended the meeting.
