On November 5th, President NING Bin met with the delegation from University for Peace (UPEACE) led by Rector Francisco Rojas Aravena.
Firstly, President NING Bin extended welcome to the delegation and introduced the history, talent cultivation, strength discipline, internationalization and service for national rail transport development. He hoped that through this visit, both sides would carry out student joint educational programs, mutual visits among teachers and students and taking posts in international organizations in the fields of law, environment and mass communication.
Francisco Rojas Aravena expressed gratitude to BJTU for the hospitality and introduced the history and school-running features of UPEACE. He spoke highly of the achievements BJTU has made in the talent cultivation, scientific research and service for the national rail transport development of BJTU. Both sides have reached initial consensuses on the cooperation of mutual visits in the areas of law, environment and mass communication.
The delegation also visited the university museum after the meeting.
