In the afternoon of September 10, 2013, The Undergraduates 2+2 Cooperation Agreement between Beijing Jiaotong University and Oakland University was signed.

 

Vice President Prof. ZHANG Xingchen met with Prof. Louay Chamra, Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Gary Barber and Prof. YANG Lianxiang from Oakland University. ZHANG extended his warm welcome to the delegation and spoke highly of the achievements that both universities has made in the past and hoped that both university will further to enhance c cooperation with each other and provide more opportunities for the students to study abroad.

    Prof. Luary Chamra expressed his appreciation that BJTU gives to OU. He said OU attached great importance to the cooperation with BJTU and OU is looking forward to more fruitful cooperation with BJTU in areas such staff exchange and joint research.

After the meeting, Prof. LI Jianyong, Dean of School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering, Prof. ZHONG Zhangdui, Dean of Computer and Information Technology, Prof. HE Jinghan, Chairperson of School of Electrical Engineering signed the agreements with OU respectively. OU will provide scholarships to students enrolling in the program.

Dr. DENG Xinhua, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exhange and Mr. WEI Wangqiang, Deputy Director of Office of Academic Affairs also joined the meeting.
