BJTU Signed Cooperation Agreements with China Railway International Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd. and China ITS (Holdings) Co., Ltd.
On January 16th, 2023, Beijing Jiaotong University held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with China Railway International Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CRIT") and China ITS (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "ITS Holdings") in the conference room on the 5th floor of ITS Holdings Building. Gao Yan, member of the university Party Committee and Vice President, Zhao Xiang, Chairman of CRIT, Yin Zhigang, Executive Vice President of CRIT, Gao Chunhai, Chairman of ITS Holdings, and Zhu Di, Assistant to the President of ITS Holdings, attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Gao Chunhai.
Gao Yan introduced the recent development and achievements of BJTU. She said that BJTU has participated in and witnessed the historical process of China's transportation development, and has trained a large number of talents for the country based on its educational characteristics and talent cultivation goals. She emphasized that the cooperation between BJTU and CRRC is based on the solid foundation and has broad prospects. As a typical representative of the successful transformation of scientific and technological achievements, ITS Holdings has closely linked industry, academia and research with BJTU, and has achieved remarkable results. She hoped that all parties would strengthen their cooperation in talent exchange, scientific research, especially in the field of international rail transportation, and the university will fully utilize its disciplinary resource advantages, actively undertake CRIT's foreign-aid railway training programs, deeply participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road," strive for more landmark achievements, and jointly contribute to the construction of a strong transportation country and the development of railways.
Zhao Xiang, on behalf of CRIT, highly praised the achievements of BJTU and ITS Holdings in targeting the major strategic needs and the forefront of scientific and technological development, and the series of original and significant achievements made in the field of rail transit, and briefly introduced the work done by the company in international railway construction. He stated that this cooperation will be used as an opportunity to give full play to the comprehensive advantages of international railways, deepen practical cooperation, and carry out in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation, internship and practical training, scientific research cooperation, platform construction, training services, technology and product development, and provide high-quality education services and technical products for the internationalization construction of railways, and to promote the development of China's high-speed railway to go global.
Gao Chunhai expressed gratitude on behalf of the alumni business for the university's long-term attention and cultivation, and briefly introduced the contribution made by ITS Holdings in serving the independent technological innovation of national rail transit. He also said that the company will further consolidate and carry forward the existing good cooperation foundation, focusing on giving full play to its advantages in key technologies and training platform base construction in rail transit, and providing all-round support for all parties.
Gao Yan, together with Zhao Xiang and Gao Chunhai, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
Officials attended the ceremony, including the ones from the marketing department of CRIT, the Laos representative office, the president's office of ITS (Holdings) CO., Ltd, its marketing department, and its subsidiary Daxiang Technology, as well as the ones from the Office of International Liaison and Cooperation and the College of International Education of Beijing Jiaotong University.
BJTU Held a Cooperation Signing Ceremony with China Xinxing Cooperation Group Co., Ltd
On the morning of December 14th, 2022, BJTU and China Xinxing Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinxing Group") held a cooperation signing ceremony in the conference room of the Office of International Liaison and Cooperation. President Wang Jiaqiong, Chairman of Xinxing Group, Party Secretary Zhang Jian, Vice General Manager Liu Wei attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Vice President Gao Yan.
Wang Jiaqiong,, on behalf of BJTU, extended a warm welcome to President Zhang Jian and his delegation and introduced the 126 years’ development of BJTU and its recent achievements. He said that Xinxing Group boasts a glorious history of building the country and serving the army in the fields of real estate, trade logistics and pharmaceutical manufacturing. For a long time, the two sides have a stable and sound cooperation foundation in personnel training, scientific research and other aspects. We look forward to the two sides continue to build a broader platform for cooperation and exchange, and continue to promote win-win cooperation.
Zhang Jian introduced the history of Xinxing Group and said that Xinxing always adheres to the vision of "elite teachers, first-class industry and internationally renowned", and has carried out sound cooperation with BJTU for more than ten years. It is expected that both sides will continue to combine talents, technology and benefits, relying on the extensive application scenarios of Xinxing Group and the abundant teaching staff and BJTU’s advanced school-running experience. We will share resources, develop synergy, and jointly set a new benchmark for the integration of industry, study, research and application.
Gao Yan and Liu Wei signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides.
The two sides had an in-depth discussion and exchange on new mode of talent training, scientific research cooperation public relations, high-level personnel training, etc. Liu Wei put forward specific working ideas on establishing scholarships and grants and the promotion of industry-study-research cooperation. Professor Li Menggang, Director of the National Academy of Economic Security, also put forward the next step of cooperation idea on industrial safety research and construction of high-end university parks.

BJTU Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Logistics Group Co., Ltd
On August 19th, 2022, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between Beijing Jiaotong University and China Logistics Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as "China Logistics Group") was held in the multi-functional hall on the third floor of Hongguoyuan Hotel. Party Secretary Huang Taiyan, President Wang Jiaqiong, Party Standing Committee members, Vice President Gao Yan and Yu Zujun, Party Secretary and Chairman Li Hongfeng, Party Standing Committee members, Vice President Du Bo and Xu Zengtang, and Secretary of the Board of Directors Zeng Xiangzhan attended the signing ceremony, which was hosted by Wang Jiaqiong.

BJTU Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Railway Economic and Planning Research Institute.
On the afternoon of February 18th, 2022, a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony between BJTU and China Railway Economic and Planning Research Institute. (hereinafter referred to as "the Institute") was held at BJTU. The ceremony was attended by the university President Wang Jiaqiong, Vice President Gao Yan, and the Institute's Party Secretary and Executive Director Yang Zhongmin, as well as Vice President and Deputy General Manager Guo Shudong. The ceremony was presided over by Gao Yan.
Wang Jiaqiong welcomed the delegation from the Institute and introduced the technological innovation breakthroughs achieved by the university in the context of the "Double First-Class" construction. He stated that the university would work hand in hand with the Institute to plan new development at a new starting point, fully integrate into the national strategy of building a strong transportation country, and spare no effort to build a cooperative sharing platform for rail transit systems to achieve win-win cooperation between the two parties.
Yang Zhongmin introduced the main business scope and development of the Institute, stating that it is committed to building a research-oriented international business around the overall development of national railways. In the future, the Institute will carry out all-round cooperation with our university, jointly cultivate professional talent teams, promote the transformation of scientific research results, and lead industry progress to better serve national strategic needs.
