Prof. WANG Jiaqiong was born in Datong City, Shanxi Province in May 1964. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1987. Prof. WANG was admitted by Nankai University in September 1981 and later received a bachelor degree of Science and a master degree of Economics. He received his doctoral degree in Economics from Northern Jiaotong University in 1995. He worked as Deputy Director of Economics Department, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, Director of President’s Office, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University; President of Beijing Wuzi University; President and Secretary of the Party Committee of Capital University of Economics and Business, President of the University of International Business and Economics.  He served as representative of the 15^th Beijing Municipal People's Congress. Currently he is Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Jiaotong University.
