National Active Distribution Network Technology Research Center

The National Active Distribution Network Technology Research Center (NANTEC) is founded in 6 February 2013, which under the National Energy Administration, mainly led by Beijing Jiaotong University, and jointly built by Beijing Electric Power Corporation, Xuji Group Corporation and CSR Zhuzhou Electric locomotive Research Institute Co.Ltd.

The NANTEC is led by Professor Jiuchun Jiang of Beijing Jiaotong University, and focus on basic theories of active distribution network, key technology research & development, and achievement Industrialization. It integrates R & D resources of the members in order to undertake the research tasks of the National Energy Administration and other related industry fields. The NANTEC also work as a platform to create innovative talent training mechanism, and training advanced talents to support the research and industrial of China active distribution network. Thus an innovation cooperation mechanism which integrates industry, academic and research would be expected in the future under the working of the NANTEC.
