Key technology and application of magnetic fluid sealing under complicated working conditions

    The key technologies such as low temperature and large diameter magnetic liquid rotary sealing technology, large diameter and long lifetime magnetic liquid static sealing technology, high speed and long lifetime magnetic liquid reciprocating sealing technology have been invented. By 2012, this research has included 83 invention patents (7 American invention patents). 27 patents have been authorized. The key technology of this research was granted the Beijing Science and Technology Award. By 2011, these inventions have been successfully used by 200 national and international companies generating a great deal of commercial interest. This research also includes 230 publications in variety of journal, conference papers (116 SCI, EI papers, cited by others 188 times) and 5 authored books. This achievement gained the National Technological Invention Award in 2012.
