Behaviour based urban traffic flow time/space distribution and numerical calculation

Based on the analyses of the complicated traffic behaviour, a novel mathematical model of traffic flow time/space distribution is established. It is designed for modelling the large scale network traffic flow time/space distribution and numerical calculation, and has tackled the existing complex problems. It enhances the understanding to the complicated urban traffic flow time/space distribution. The research findings have reached the world leading level in this field, have impact on the theory of the modern traffic science and technology, and have strong potential applications. This achievement gained the National Nature and Science Award in 2011.
